The Schuco Mirako-Bus 1004 was first released in the Schuco collection 1951 and has been built until and including 1966. The model has a clockwork mechanism which drives the right rear wheel and a transversal wheel in the middle of the car. As soon as it reaches the edge, it turns to the left side and will not fall of the table (so-called "Turn-back function"). There has not been a new edition of this model since it was discontinued.
