Tinplate construction with gray exterior and black undercarriage. Spring motor winds and functions. Underneath is embossed, Made In US-Zone Germany. Schucko embossed backstamp.

The Schuco Mirakocar 1001 -often also called “Mirako-Auto 1001”- was first released in the Schuco collection 1951 and has been built until 1966. The model has a clockwork mechanism which drives the right rear wheel and a transversal wheel in the middle of the car. As soon as it reaches the edge, it turns to the left side and will not fall of the table (so-called “Turn-back function”).
